Three Generations Clothing Store in One Location For three generations, one family has owned and operated a clothing store in
the same location on the Square in Lafayette. The first generation started
Lafayette Dry Goods about 1940. The next generation had a store called
'Holder and Jent.' The current generation has Indigo Blues, started in
1981.
Indigo Blues has a huge selection of clothing for men, women and children. The store also rents formalwear (tuxedos) and has a nice selection of porcelain collector dolls, Italian hand-blown vases and earrings.
